Lipper Fund Awards honors two Great-West Investments funds

Great-West Mid Cap Value Fund and Great-West Aggressive Profile Fund recognized for superior performance

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., March 8, 2019 — Great-West Investments today announced that two of its mutual funds have received 2019 Lipper Fund Awards in recognition of consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to peers in their respective categories.

In the “Mid-Cap Value Funds” category, Lipper recognized Great-West Mid Cap Value Fund, for three-year and five-year performance. In the “Mixed-Asset Target Allocation Aggressive Growth Funds” category Lipper cited the Great-West Aggressive Profile Fund for 10-year performance excellence.

The Lipper Fund Awards, announced March 7 in New York City, honor individual mutual funds that excel in delivering performance. Great-West is being honored by Lipper for the fifth consecutive year.

“At Great-West we place great attention on a rigorous investment process in order to deliver strong and sustained investment performance for our clients,” said Scott C. Sipple, President of Great-West Investments. “It is an honor to be recognized by the Lipper organization, which has set the bar for excellence in our industry.”

The Great-West Mid-Cap Value Fund (MXMVX) seeks long-term growth of capital in a broadly diversified portfolio of equity investments in mid-cap U.S. issuers, including foreign issues that are traded in the United States.

The Great-West Aggressive Profile Fund (MXAPX) seeks long-term capital appreciation primarily through investments in underlying funds that emphasize equity investment.1

For more than three decades, Lipper Fund Awards have honored funds and fund management firms that have excelled in providing consistently strong risk-adjusted performance relative to their peers. The awards are based on Lipper’s proprietary performance-based methodology.

Lipper ranks mutual funds based on each fund’s objective within the respective Lipper category. Based on Lipper’s quantitative, proprietary methodology the awards reflect a truly independent and uncompromised assessment of fund performance. Lipper ranking does not account for sales charges and is based on total return. Past performance is not an indication of future results.
